About Us...
J. Scott Roberts
Began work in the Natural Gas Industry in 1976 as a field technician with
Dixie Natural Gas in Thomasville, Georgia. Duties included: Cathodic
Protection Monitoring and installation, Leak Survey Detection and repair,
Meter Testing and repair, Regulator Station inspection.
Incorporated as City Services, Inc. in 1984 in the Natural Gas Service
business. The core enterprise of City Services consists of Leak
Detection and repair, Cathodic Protection Monitoring and installation,
Meter Testing and repair, Regulator Station inspection, Gas Rate
structure design and Consulting, Natural Gas Supply and Transportation.
Began working with the Suburban Natural Gas Company of Cygnet,
Ohio in June of 1986 in field operations. Duties included: reading
meters, service calls, repairing gas leaks, and installation of PE pipeline.
Continued work in the Natural Gas Industry in August 1989 with the
Suburban Natural Gas Company of Marion, Ohio in field operations.
Duties included: reading meters, service calls, repairing gas leaks,
installation of PE pipeline, and cathodic protection monitoring and
installation.
Began work with the City of Manchester, Georgia Utility Department in
March of 1997. Duties included: Foreman - oversaw all gas operations,
installing mainlines, repairing gas leaks.
Joined City Services, Inc. in March of 1998 as a field technician. Duties
consist of Field Supervisor over all projects, leak detection and repair,
cathodic protection monitoring and installation, meter testing and repair,
regulator maintenance, odorizer maintenance

Began work in the Natural Gas Industry in December of 1982 as a field
technician with the City of Thomasville, Georgia Utility Department.
Duties included: reading meters, gas cut-on and cut-off.
Joined City Services, Inc. in August 1992 as a field survey technician.
Duties consist of leak detection and repair, cathodic protection
monitoring and installation, meter testing and repair.
Brian Cartwright
Began work with City Services, Inc. in May 2002 as a field technician.
Duties consist of leak detection and repair, cathodic protection
monitoring and installation, meter testing and repair, regulator
maintenance, odorizer maintenance, operator qualification training.
Donald Thomas
Began work with City Services, Inc. in October 2006 as a field
technician. Duties consist of leak detection and repair, cathodic
protection monitoring and installation, meter testing and repair, regulator
maintenance, odorizer maintenance.
